Nina is a sweet rescued kitten who has already endured more than most animals ever should. Earlier this year, she bravely survived panleukopenia, coronavirus, and giardiasis. But heartbreak has followed her family. her brother MJ passed away from neurological FIP, and just days ago, her other brother Spot also lost his battle with FIP.

Now, Nina is facing the same cruel disease. She began treatment in August and showed a glimmer of hope, but her health quickly declined again. She developed severe vomiting and diarrhea, her white blood cell count dropped dangerously low, and she needed to be hospitalized once more. Her medication dose had to be increased, and she is struggling with painful injection sores and inflammation on top of everything else.

Despite it all, Nina is still fighting. She deserves the chance her brothers didn’t get, to grow up, to play, and to live the safe, happy life she’s just beginning to know. But the cost of ongoing treatment, bloodwork, hospital stays, and medications is overwhelming.
