Vet bills

My cat Mordy was hospitalized a few days ago due to a urinary obstruction. He has stones in his bladder that cause him to be unable to pee. Since he can't pee, his kidneys can't function and the toxicity will build up in his body and he will eventually die. He's only four years old and the best thing in my life (I have been struggling with major depressive disorder since I was young and he's pretty much my only reason for living). He is going to need surgery to remove the stones, which will cost anywhere from $2000-$3000. After already paying $3000 for this hospitalization, there is no way I can afford to pay another $3000 since I've already spent all of my savings and literally can't even afford next month's rent due to the previous vet bill. Since I can't afford to pay for this surgery and any possible complications that may come along with it, my only other option is to have him put down since he is in a lot of pain.
