Help Heidi

Heidi has been diagnosed with Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma. This rare cancerous mass is pressing on an artery and vein going into her leg, and causing a significantly large DVT (blood clot). The mass is also incasing her left ureter and has left her with no function in her left kidney. After being in the hospital for over a month, she is currently home receiving therapy for the cancer and two shots of blood thinners each day for the clot and leg swelling. If all goes as planned and CT scan clears her for surgery in 3 months, they will do a full hysterectomy, remove her left kidney and ureter, along with the mass. At the time of surgery a vascular surgeon will also try to repair any damage to the artery and vein, but she has been told that there is possible irreversible damage. Heidi is already facing huge medical expenses and there is more to come with continued therapy and surgery. Please feel free to donate any amount that you can, every bit helps.
