Dear friends,
As many of you know, after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer six years ago and battling my way through it all those years I was re-diagnosed a little over a year ago with Metastatic Breast Cancer. The cancer has returned and is in my bones, including the marrow and in my liver. As of now it is spreading. Treatment is limited at this point because of low white cells due to the cancer in my marrow. My bones just aren’t producing the cells I need to keep me healthy and strong enough to fight off infection and to endure chemo treatment. I live in fear of contracting other diseases, viruses, infections, etc, that could end my life even sooner than expected and that the cancer will continue to spread quickly and leave me incapacitated and unable to care for myself. My greatest fear, however, is that I will leave my family struggling and scrambling to pay my medical expenses, for my end of life care and my final expenses. Having the constant worry and stress of struggling for the remainder of my life is taking its toll on my emotional and physical well being, so I am asking for your help to make my ongoing treatment/s and my transition as stress free as possible by helping me with my medical and final expenses.
I’ve lived a lifetime without learning how to ask for help, so this is all extremely hard to write. It’s taken me months to get this far and still I don’t want to ask, but I have to. I’m asking for your help out of humility and necessity.
