Emily's Cancer Treatment

My sister-in-law Emily Williams is one of the most loving and generous people I've ever met. She's an amazing woman, wife, mom, coach, colleague, daughter, niece, aunt...you name it. She is filled with kindness and she is the first in line to help and support every time. 

Now she needs all of us who love her. She and her amazing family - Phil and Sam and Avery - could use all of our help right now. Emily has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma stage IV.  

The basics: Stage four means it has progressed to her bone marrow. It is considered "low grade and slow growing." It is not curable, but it is treatable. She's started treatment earlier this month, with antibody infusions, and will begin chemotherapy in February. 

The other basics: Emily's been on a health rollercoaster for the last two years, which has been both physically and financially devastating, coping first with Lyme disease, and now with this diagnosis. The expenses will continue as she treats and manages Lymphoma.
