Rebuilding After Harvey

Hello, thank you for visiting our GoFundMe page. Karina and I are from Richmond, TX and we are victims from the flooding waters due to heavy rainfall from Hurricane Harvey.
On Monday August 28th at 12:15 AM water began to enter our house through the back door. Before we knew, water was everywhere and entering from every angle! Karina and I began to put things high and disconnected all electronics. We planned to stay the night in the attic with our three children (8, 6, 1) but we made the horrific discovery that sewage water was coming up from the toilets and bathtubs. At that moment Karina packed a few items of clothes for the kids and I called my brother in law to help us evacuate. At 12:45 AM we left our house and walked/swam a mile with water that came up to our chest.
We have lost everything inside the house including our car. Everything is needed and insurance will not cover the loss due to the flood.
We created the GoFundMe account to help us rebuild our home that was lost due to the enormous flooding. We will have to tear down and rebuild our home because about three feet of water entered our entire house. New floors, carpet, kitchen, restrooms, and bedrooms. We did not have flood insurance because we have never flooded before.
Any amount will be helpful and a blessing to us because we will be paying off the contractors as they complete each job.
