Stroke Survivor to Africa

Donation protected
My name is Tamisheka Swan. My journey began in April, 2016.

We got to the hospital to find out that I had suffered a stroke! I stayed in the hospital for a week. I was devastated and unaware of my future at that point.

I was air ambulanced to the Women and Brigham's hospital and Spaulding Rehabilitation Center. I was tested at both hospitals to find out I had suffered a rare stroke called Cadasil. This stroke left me with left leg/right arm weakness. Imagine that! I had a stroke which did not have much research success at all.

We left Boston with hope. Over the past few years, my life has been filled with ups and downs. I had to leave the Educational system and soon after, left the island of Bermuda to seek further treatment and advice, to no avail.

I continue to believe that God has a different plan for my life. I will teach again. I believe in miracles.  I will be able to teach again, in another form.

My family have made the decision to move to Africa later this year. With your assistance, I will be an asset. I need a vehicle to get around. I want to help the children of Ghana. I want to give back to the community. Thank you for your support.
