Dear Friends,

We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to kindly support our dear childhood friend, Hanna Tzeggay.

Three years ago, Hanna suffered a serious accident that caused a severe fracture to her femoral head, a debilitating injury that urgently requires surgery to insert a prosthesis. Unfortunately, Hanna lives in Eritrea, where there are no adequate medical facilities for such a complicated procedure. Faced with this harsh reality, we, her lifelong friends, have come together to help her receive the surgery she desperately needs to lead a healthy life by arranging her transfer to Italy.

After a long period of evaluation and searching for how best to assist Hanna, and with the generous support of benefactors, we have finally managed to bring her to Italy, where she is now hospitalized at Cotolengo Hospital in Turin. During her pre-hospitalization assessments, doctors discovered that her condition was far more severe than expected, as her femur was gravely damaged, and without proper surgery, her life would have been in serious danger.

Although her operation is covered, Hanna’s recovery has taken an unexpected turn. Due to the severity of her condition, doctors have informed us that her rehabilitation will require much more time and specialized care than initially anticipated. This extended rehabilitation period not only prolongs her recovery but also results in considerable additional costs, which is why we urgently need your help to raise 15,000 euros to ensure Hanna receives the support and rehabilitation necessary for her full recovery.

This message is addressed to all those who, like us, know Hanna because they were schoolmates and childhood friends; but it is also for those who understand the importance of solidarity toward those in need.

Therefore, we kindly ask everyone to consider a donation to this noble cause. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to saving Hanna’s life and giving her the chance to walk again and live a full, healthy life.

Oggi ci rivolgiamo a voi con una richiesta che ci sta tantissimo a cuore per sostenere la nostra cara amica d'infanzia, Hanna Tzeggay.

Tre anni fa, la nostra amica Hanna ha subito un grave incidente che le ha causato la rottura della testa del femore, una menomazione talmente debilitante che richiede un intervento chirurgico urgente per l’applicazione di una protesi. Purtroppo, Hanna vive in Eritrea, dove mancano le strutture mediche adeguate ad affrontare un intervento chirurgico così delicato, per cui, davanti a questa difficile realtà, noi, le sue amiche di lunga data, ci siamo unite per aiutarla ad affrontare l'intervento di cui ha disperatamente bisogno tramite al suo trasferimento in Italia.

Dopo un lungo periodo di valutazione e ricerca su come aiutare Hanna, grazie all’intervento di benefattori, siamo infine riuscite a far venire Hanna in Italia, dove ora è ricoverata presso l'Ospedale Cottolengo di Torino. Dagli accertamenti fatti al pre-ricovero, i medici hanno scoperto che le sue condizioni erano molti più gravi del previsto, in quanto il suo femore era gravemente leso e che senza un intervento adeguato la sua vita sarebbe stata in grande pericolo.

Sebbene l'operazione sia coperta, il percorso di guarigione di Hanna ha preso una piega inaspettata. A causa della gravità delle sue condizioni, i medici ci hanno informato che la riabilitazione di Hanna richiederà molto più tempo e cure specialistiche di quanto era previsto; un periodo di riabilitazione, non solo prolungato, ma che di conseguenza comporta anche costi aggiuntivi considerevoli, per cui abbiamo urgente bisogno del vostro aiuto per raccogliere 15,000 euro, necessari perché Hanna riceva il supporto e la riabilitazione che le permetteranno di guarire completamente

Questo nostro scritto è rivolto a quanti, come noi, conoscono Hanna perché erano stati compagni di scuola e amici d’infanzia; ma è anche rivolto a quanti conoscono il valore della solidarietà verso chi è nel bisogno: a tutti, quindi, chiediamo gentilmente di considerare una donazione per questa nobile causa. Ogni contributo, anche il più piccolo, ci avvicina a salvare la vita di Hanna e a darle la possibilità di camminare di nuovo e vivere una vita piena e sana.

In questi tempi difficili, la vostra generosità e il vostro sostegno significano un mondo per Hanna e la sua famiglia, così come per noi.
