Hope for Felicia

Felicia Cantone suffers with a rear bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. She developed it at the tender age of six.
She endured ten months of Chemotheraphy resulting in her shin bone being replaced by a titanium plate. Eighteen months later the disease had returned. She wad 10 years old. She stayed in hospital for a full month for hospital treatment where the doctors blasted her with so much Chemotherapy it would almost kill her. However an above knee amputation was required to give her a better hope of survival.
Thankfully she entered remission for eight years, and with some alternative therapy in Mexico which helped to clean her blood of the toxins from chemo, she lived a relatively healthy and pain free life.
Fast forward to just before her eighteenth birthday, she was getting pains in her chest. The Ewings sarcoma had returned.
She is now 23 and has been having chemotherapy for the last 5 years. Her cancer has now spread to her lungs and her spine. Her T11 vertebrae is cracked, due to the tumour and she is now wearing a back brace to prevent her back from breaking and is bed bound. Her doctor has told us that she is not responding to chemotherapy and that her body is given up.
Our next step is for felicia to have surgery to strengthen her back and to have a couple of radiotherapy sessions to get her able again. When she is able we want to take her to mexico for alternative treatment. The doctos our there are Ewing Sarcoma experts which will give Felicia the best possible chance.
The treatment in Mexico costs arround £4,000 a week. The doctors recommended that she has 9-12 months for the best possible result.
