Help me give my mom the best christmas!

Hey there,
My name’s Jenna. I’m 13 and I have the best Mom in the world. Her name is Andrea Clarke, you may have heard it because she makes friends everywhere she goes. She’s very social, outgoing, courageous, kind, smart, and many other things. Most of all, she’s my forever friend, my “ride or die”, and my best friend. Here’s our story.
My Mom is 47, and a couple of years ago she was diagnosed with stage four cancer. My sister and I cut her hair and gave her a mohawk which she rocks daily. We did this because she was supposed to start chemotherapy. The day before she was supposed to go for her first round of chemo, she got a call that she was okay and she didn’t need it! The surgery took it all. This was the best news ever! After that, she was going for testing frequently for the next two years to make sure she was cancer-free. Those two years she was perfect! No cancer anywhere. She was done, no more testing.
After this, she went through a terrible divorce with my Dad. He took tons of things from us and my Mom had to work crazy overtime. This was 2 years ago. Now, in 2024, she still works a lot, especially with Christmas coming up. Now, a couple of weeks ago, she was diagnosed with cancer yet again. This time it’s a lump on her neck. My Mom needs to go to radiation therapy to kill that lump. She still wants to work to pay off bills and to pay for Christmas. She feels really bad that my sister and I won’t get as many gifts as we normally do because there are a lot of things to pay for. I’m really worried about her and I just want her to stay home and rest during radiation.
I’m hoping that this fundraiser will help her stay in bed and snuggle with me while we watch Christmas movies. Please, every cent matters. Help this loving woman fight cancer and enjoy the Christmas season with her two kids, dogs, family, and friends.
