Don't Mall Tiverton

We are a small coastal New England town in Rhode Island.  We are home to three National Register Historic districts, a revolutionary war redoubt, great sailing, and many small and unique shops run by local artists and business people.  However, like many small towns, we are struggling to recover from the recession.  Most recently, a large developer has been promoting a 65 acre mega-development as a way of reducing taxes.  You've all heard it before.  National chains, 25 acres of asphalt, and 25,000 car trips per day/9,000,000 per year. 
Don't Mall Tiverton is an organization of neighbors who believe that saving our history and sense of place is important for our town and state.  We need your help to offset legal fees for the upcoming appeals.
