My name is Derek Young and I am fundraising for a special person who seems to never catch a break.

He has over come Cancer, currently in remission. He is a single father raising three children and recently fell out of tree and broke his neck while attempting to prune a few dead branches. My friends name is Dana. The money we raise here will go to him and his three children to cover costs of food, housing, hospital bills, etc.

Dana will be unable to work for a minimum three months to one year. It is possible he may never be able to return to his current job because he may not ever be able to perform the physical requirements again.

Dana is incredibly hard working and a caring person. I know it will bother him not being able to work to provide for his family.

My hopes are, to create a comfortable situation for him. To be able to focus on recovering, and not rushing back in fear of not being able to pay bills.
