Career of My Dreams

Hello. I am trying to help out my friend, Her name is Sharon. She is a 55 year old survivor of domestic violence and 5 yrs clean and sober from a long time use of heroin and misc pills. Currently a resident of Morningstar Mission woman and family transitional housing facility in Joliet IL. A faith based program providing a safe and secure place for women to regain and rebuild their lives along with the love of God. She is working on getting her degree as a alcohol and drug counselor, a career choice I believe she was meant to do. The passion she feels for this decision is indescribable. With her experience and knowledge as well as all she will have learned once she has achieved her certification, I have total confidence she can and will make a difference.
There are a few obstacles to address in her pursuit but she will not be stopped in her path.
Their basic needs are being met there Food, shelter, prayer and support but in order to walk in her purpose, she is going need a laptop computer, some clothing and supplies for school, as well as transportation money for the long bus ride to and from. Your generosity will assure she can being this dream and succeed.
