Edith I Starke Grade 5 Fieldtrip

Hello! I am the teacher-librarian at Edith I Starke Elementary School. I am helping to raise money for our 5th grade students to go on a fieldtrip to Sea World in Orlando. This fieldtrip will give the students valuable field experience on animals and their habitats that will help them make connections to what they learn in the classroom. For some, this will be the trip of a lifetime due to the limited circumstances in which they live.
Ninety-nine percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Edith I. Starke Elementary is in the top 100 schools in the state for free and reduced lunch. We are a neighborhood school. Most of our children walk to school. Our teachers are working hard to provide these students with the best education possible. Please help support them in their endeavors to provide rich experiences and lasting memories for our 5th grade students. Our 5th grade teachers would like to schedule the fieldtrip for early May.
