We are Empire Elite Wrestling, a youth wrestling club that promotes dedication, perseverance, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth through wrestling. Our goal is to use wrestling to instill a strong work ethic, healthy lifestyle and positive "can do" attitude.
We are a newly founded youth club that is looking to build a practice facility in Greene, NY. After making the choice to leave our previous wrestling club due to changes in coaching staff, fees, and program vision, we have been left with only a temporary practice facility and no funds. We have available land and manpower for the construction, however, we are looking for donations to help with the cost of building materials/supplies. We have been fortunate enough to receive donations of some materials, but we can't start construction until we get funding for a concrete slab foundation. Once that is poured, we can begin building the frame, and go from there. The immediate goal is to raise $3800 to have the concrete poured in May.
This group of wrestlers range in age from 7 years old to high schoolers, and their dedication to the sport is beyond their years. We have numerous NYS Champions and many All State wrestlers as well as 2015 Eastern National All-Americans. The wrestlers are currently preparing for the 2016 Eastern National qualifier (Shamokin, Pa) in mid April .
In addition to this web page we are in the process of organizing various local fundraisers, ie. golf tournament, barbecues/bakes sales, garage sale, etc, to off-set the cost of this new facility, equipment, and team uniforms. The goal is to provide a free, high quality experiences for our local youth wrestlers.
Donation received will go towards the building of this new facility. Our wrestlers who originally felt displaced after leaving their former club, now feel hopeful and excited about their new club. The coaching staff have extensive backgrounds at both the college and high school levels and promote a positive learning environment.
Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated by this amazing group of young wrestlers. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
