Miller Family Medical Expenses

Some of you may know Melissa as a fellow graduate of Clay High School, some know her from when she was a waitress at Bob Evans, and alot know her from the gym she started and grew with her Dad by her side, Fliptastic Gymnastics. After her Dad's passing, Melissa took the gym under her wing and even renamed it to honor her late father, Michael's Legacy Gymnastics Acacademy.
Just over a week ago Melissa's Mom was admitted to the hospital after taking a fall. She had a brain bleed that required a hospital stay to treat, and while in the hospital they diagnosed her with Parkinson's disease. If that wasn't bad news enough, the following Wednesday Melissa was called at the gym from Will's work (Will is Melissa's finacee) telling her that she needed to get to the hospital, with little more information. When she got there, she had no idea what she was up against, or what she may face in the days ahead. When she arrived, they thought Will may have suffered a stoke, but this was ruled out. After futher testing, they found a lesion on his brain and transported him to St. V's. (ironically in a room just down the hall from her Mom) The next day, he had surgery to help drain the blood they found between his brain and spinal cord. In the next few days, testing had found legions on his liver, his only kidney and brain. (Will had his kidney removed in 2006 after being diagnosed with kindey cancer) Melissa has met with countless doctors to discuss his memory loss and what is next to come. As of right now, they are waiting for him to gain his strength back for them to go back in and do a biopsy of the legion found on his brain. Docotor's are concerned his cancer may have returned, although testing of the spinal fluid shows NO cancerous cells so far. Melissa has been juggling spending time at her Mom's side while she was in the hospital, being with Will when ever visiting hours allow, and juggling her 5 kids all while trying to make sure the classes at the gym are covered.
She has and continues to pour her heart into her gym. Many of the parents that have kids she teaches, myself being one, wanted to do something to help her. I thought this would be a great way to take one less worry off her plate. This was created for us to come together and help donate to relieve any of the finacial stress this family may occur during this difficult time.
I have asked Melissa to keep me updated, and as I know more I will share updates she has to offer. No doller amount is too small, please donate what you can. Let's rally around them with this support as well as prayers so she knows how many people are standing behind her and this amazing family.
