Ava was just like any other 10 year old. She loved horse back riding, riding her bike, playing with friends and doing things with her siblings. On June 13, 2018 she was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
Ava went through 6 weeks of radiation which was supposed to slow down the tumor from growing but the tumor kept growing throughout radiation. She did a IV steroid but ended up being allergic to it so had to stop that. Ava has been given a few weeks to a few months left in her life.
Because of this, we are raising money to help the family to maximize their time together. Currently, Ava's dad is the only one working and this causes him to miss out on the precious time that Ava has left.
