Kristina's Fight
Donation protected

My wife Kristina Lanoue is an awesome woman, loving sister, caring aunt and amazing daughter.
In May of 2014 at the age of 24, Kristina was diagnosed with stage 1B1 cervical cancer. In June 2014 she underwent a radical hysterectomy, which was supposed to "cure" her. In November when she went for a check up with her oncologist Kristina was told that the cancer had come back and was already 3cm in size. In December Kristina started radiation along with chemotherapy. She did 28 rounds of radiation and 5 rounds of chemo. Those treatments were unsuccessful. After that Kristina was put on two stronger chemo drugs to try and shrink the tumor some more. Unfortunately a recent MRI showed that despite how well Kristina is feeling the chemo did not help. In fact the tumor is now larger then it was in December. The oncologist told her that it was the most aggressive cancer she had seen and didn't have any other treatments she could offer.
Kristina was a bright flame that warm the hearts of others. She will be sadly missed.
I am very sad to announce that Kristina Lanoue, finally lost her battle with cancer, she was 27 yrs old.
I would like to thank everyone who donated to Kristina’s cause and enabled her to attend the Northern Baja Healing Centre in Jul 2015. The treatment there was a positive experience for both of us and helped provide precious extra time together.
I invite anyone who wishes to donate. This time all money raised will go towards helping us with funeral costs and expenses, which will assist us in some small way through the difficult times ahead.
