Fran Needs Our Help!
We are starting up this GoFundMe page to help someone who has always put others' needs before her own, and who now needs our help to address a serious medical issue. Fran is a devoted mother and grandmother who has spent her life caring for others, and as a result unfortunately has not taken care of herself.
Over time, Fran's health has declined. She needs knee replacement and other surgeries. Before a surgeon will operate on her though, there is a major dental issue that needs to be resolved. Fran has not been able to afford dental insurance for many years, and as a result has not been getting necessary dental care. Gum disease, infections and tooth decay have been an ongoing problem, and she is now at a critical stage where she needs immediate extensive dental surgery to remove poisonous toxins from her body which cannot be cured by antibiotics. This needs to be done as soon as possible to remove the infection from her body before any surgeon will agree to operate on her knees. As she does not have dental insurance that would cover the cost of this major dental work, and Fran cannot afford this expense, we have set up this website. The estimated cost for the dental work is over $50,000.
Those who know Fran know she has always given generously to her family, to her synagogue, and to strangers who just need a little helping hand. She has organized countless events to gather donations for battered and abused women, orchestrated large scale projects to make sure that school children in need have necessary supplies for learning, has arranged for visits to nursing home residents for holidays, and has done many more good deeds. The list can go on forever. Ironically, this woman who is disabled, who has trouble standing, sitting, walking and living a normal life, and who is on a limited fixed income, spends most of her life getting people to help those who are "in need." Now, Fran needs help from our community.
We are asking you to take a moment to donate as much as you can and share this link with others so that Fran can begin her dental work as soon as possible.
