California Fundraiser

Hello Family and Friends,

Our team, The Penticton Atom Development Jr Vees, have managed to secure a once in a lifetime opportunity this season.

Much like the District 9 Ducks in D2: The Mighty Ducks, we will be travelling to California to represent our country in a minor hockey tournament for the ages. While there the kids will attend an NHL game where the Anaheim Ducks will face the Washington Capitals. They will also have the opportunity to go behind the scenes after the game for the kids to meet and get autographs from some of the players.

To ensure all the families can go and make the most of the trip, we are fundraising to offset the cost of airfare for the players, game tickets, a souvenir from the tournament (beyond the gold medal we will be playing for) and something for the NHL players to sign. We will be having the kids and parents do traditional fundraising locally, but we are asking if you can help by making a contribution  so we can ensure this opportunity becomes a reality.

We appreciate anything you can give, please know that this a team fundraiser and any extra funds beyond our fundraising goal will be distributed to our families to help offset any additional costs (ie hotels, car rentals, team meals, etc).
