Desperate old lady

Hi, My name is Tammy.

I was laid off from my mortgage job at the end of May.

In my state, Florida, only 12 weeks max and $247/week max (after taxes). It has expired.

Savings are gone.

As an older (61 yrs old) worker I have the added problem of my age in finding a new job.

As of Nov 10, 2022 - 267 applications from mortgage biz to MacDonalds, with 163 rejections and the rest no response.

I am still hopeful to find something, anything, to keep me going

However, I am facing eviction as well as shut off of utilities, including phone and internet ( which would help me find a job)

I do have a small pup as well. I'm more afraid of being able to care for her in the near future.

This is an honest plea for your help.

I do believe this is only a temporary setback. I have to believe that.
