Help Dad kick cancer

I don’t typically post things of this sort but this proves to be an exception.
You may or may not know that roughly 2 years ago my mom suffered a debilitating stroke that resulted in the loss of mobility in her right arm and leg. It wasn’t something I told many people about. Her road to recovery has been a long one, but with the help of countless doctors, family and friends she has made great progress, and while she relies heavily on the help of my father to complete many daily activities and tasks that you and I take for granted, they had just managed to settle into their new “norm.”
And then life threw yet another curveball.
My dad was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. The caretaker and sole income provider of the household now needs to take a step back and focus on beating this. He’ll be out of work for several months and the lack of income is adding undue stress to an already difficult situation.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. First and foremost, we ask for your prayers during this time. We want nothing more than for him to kick cancer to the curb and show it who’s boss. If you are so inclined and would like to make a contribution, your generosity will not go unnoticed. Our family will be forever grateful.
My father is too proud to do anything like a fundraiser for himself and would probably beat me if he knew I was doing this so I have taken the point on doing it so that he can focus on healing and not worry about finances. Anyone that knows my family knows that we don't ask for much help but sometimes we just need to raise our hands.
