From the Heart

Merry Christmas everyone. It’s been on my family’s heart to try and help my sister Mariah and her family this holiday season. Her son Benton was born with a congenital heart block. He had a pacemaker placed at birth and just recently needed it replaced. The healing process was rough, for unknown reasons his incision wouldn’t heal and recurrently got infected. Because of this Mariah and Benton have been in and out of the hospital for 3 months. Benton just went under again to have the pacemaker moved and now has three new incisions in addition to the first incision that still has not healed. They are living at the hospital, and have no discharge date planned. It’s been a hard road for him and his mom. Mariah has been unable to work because of all of this and I know she could use the financial help during this time. Anything would help and I know her family will appreciate it. We’ve set a goal for $5000, I know that would help her pay bills, get groceries, and Christmas presents for the boys. Merry Christmas, anything you can give will be a blessing.
