I am 26 and was born with one of the rarest medical conditions known to man. I was born with Klippel Trenaunay Syndrome and have been hospitalized over 125 TIMES for various surgeries and grave cellulitis and sepsis since I was born.
I have never known a life without constant hospitalization and near death experiences. I am severely disabled. I am losing my mobility, have frequent bleeding, blood clots, and horrific pain.
More importantly, though, I keep getting septic and nearly dying. This past month, I was in the hospital 3 times for cellulitis infections. I am now home on a picc line to recieve daily IV antibitoics.
My doctors have recently made a MAJOR breakthrough in treating this condition with chemotherapy medications. My family and I have done EVERYTHING to get my hands on these chemotherapy medications. After a year of fighting, we finally won.
My condition changed for the better since being on the medication, but THEY HAVE NOW DROPPED ME AGAIN.
Insurance will not cover ANY of the two chemotherapy medications I need to LIVE. IT IS 14,000 A MONTH FOR THE MEDICATIONS I NEED. Insurance will not cover any of it!
I am allergic to many of the major classes of antibiotics. The ones I am not allergic to I keep breaking through and because of this keep having near death experiences.
Without these medications, I may not survive much longer and insurance will not cover any of it. Please help me live. There is so much I want to do before I die someday and I am nowhere ready. I would not have made this page if I was not desperate.
I believe I was put on this Earth to help garner awareness for this condition and my mission is nowhere finished.
Please help me.
