VSU Fundraiser for Alimenta la Solidaridad

The Venezuelan Student Union (VSU) is a non-profit organization at the University of Houston that strives to unite student through the spreading of Venezuelan culture. We also aim to help the Venezuelan community through various ways from abroad.
This year we decided to collaborated with " Alimenta la Soidaridad," an organization based in Carabobo, Venezuela, that develops solutions towards food insecurity. They seek to provide daily lunches to children in impoverished regions all over the nation, doing so by recruiting funds and scouting the help if volunteers. Their goal is to establish a concrete support system to children ages 6 months to 12 years old by creating an establishment that allows children to be fed on a daily basis.
As the Venezuelan Student Union, our mission is to help this organization reach their goals, but we need to get there. Any form of aid, whether through donations or spreading the word, would be greatly appreciated.

La Organización de Venezolanos (VSU) de la Universidad de Houston, es una organización sin fines de lucro cuya misión es unificar a los estudiantes y promover la cultura Venezolana. También intentamos ayudar a la comunidad Venezolana a través de diversos métodos desde el exterior.
Este año estamos colaborando con “Alimenta la Solidaridad” en Carabobo, Venezuela que busca combatir la crisis de seguridad alimentaria que sufren niños y niñas del estado Carabobo. Ellos buscan proveer almuerzos diarios a niños de bajos recursos, con la ayuda de voluntarios. Su meta es establecer centros de apoyo en las comunidades (comedores) para suministrar el almuerzo a diario a niños y niñas desde 6 meses de edad a 12 años.
Nuestro misión como organización, es ayudarlos para que puedan continuar suministrando estos alimentos, pero necesitamos su ayuda. Cualquier tipo de apoyo, con donaciones o regando la voz se agradecería!
