<div>Sinds 2020 worden artsen die zich kritisch uitspreken over de coronamaatregelen in België vervolgd door de Orde der Artsen.

<div>Ondanks dat mijn berichten op Twitter/X gebaseerd zijn op feiten, wetenschappelijke studies, officiële cijfers en statistieken hebben mijn collega-artsen van de Orde van Antwerpen mij via 2 procedures een schorsing van 3 en 4 weken opgelegd wegens het niet volgen van de “wetenschappelijke consensus” en “de huidige stand van de wetenschap”.

<div>Hiertegen ging ik in beroep.

<div>in 2026 volgt een uitspraak van de Raad van Beroep van de Orde der Artsen.

<div>Indien ook deze Raad mij een sanctie oplegt zal ik samen met mijn advocaat Walter Van Steenbrugge verder procederen via het Hof van Cassatie en eventueel later het Europees Hof voor de Rechten van de Mens.

<div>Mijn uiteindelijke doel is om volledige vrijspraak te krijgen omwille van de vrijheid van meningsuiting zodat het mogelijk wordt voor ALLE artsen om in de toekomst vrij te kunnen spreken op sociale media en in het openbaar.

<div>Deze strijd heeft mij al heel wat tijd, geld en moeite gekost en daarom vraag ik nu jullie steun.
