Please Help Save Sgt. Pepper of the Lonely Hearts

2nd UPDATE: The goal is not the whole cost. The surgery + mri + doc visits is $8,370. We can cover some of it, including what we've already paid for doctors, x-rays, medication, and support equipment. I just don't want anyone to think that we're not trying to cover the costs that we can. This is totally out of character for us to ask for help. - MY MOM UPDATE: We took Sarge to another Vet Hospital and they recommended not getting the MRI and that it was a slipped disk. His best outcome is to have surgery that we can not afford. Right now he is on steroids and pain meds but this is probably a temporary fix. Please donate whatever you can to help and Please share this. We hate asking for charity but, at this point, we have no choice.  After we lost my great grandmother's/uncle Bryan's dog, Jackie, to a coyote last year, my mom and Bryan found a severely emaciated pup that would later be named Sgt. Pepper of the Lonely Hearts Club Band (Sarge for short), at an animal shelter out in Palmdale. It was love at first sight for Bryan and Sarge. They signed the waiver that said he might not make it and they healed each other's hearts. Bryan and Sarge have become inseparable, with Sarge following him everywhere. The past week we noticed Sarge acting lethargic and losing the spring in his step. He went to the vet yesterday and came home with the possible diagnoses of a pinched nerve. Today, Sarge has degraded quite a bit and won't even walk. The Vet said he should have an MRI or Ct Scan because it may be neurological. We do not have the funds for these - if you could donate anything to help it would be greatly appreciated!
