<div>My name is Autumn. My mom, <strong>Barbara, had a massive stroke</strong> that was treated with a thrombectomy. A catheter was inserted in her thigh and went up to her brain to remove her blood clot. She was moved to Methodist for the surgery and is now in ICU. The doctors don't know the full extent of the brain damage done, but she has complete left-sided weakness and may never walk again.

<div>Update: Barbara has now underwent a craniectomy, removal of half her skull, to help relieve the swelling in her brain and is on a ventilator.  Now we play the waiting game to see if the swelling will subside.
