As most of you already know, Jennifer was diagnosed in August of 2016 with Stage 3b Squamous Cell Carcinoma (Anal Cancer).  She began Chemotherapy and Radiation shortly there after. Conventional treatment wasn't a guarantee but the cancer was growing very aggressively and something needed to be done. There was no time to think anything through. Doctor's felt ambitious about being able to reach and successfully treat the cancer.  In fact, they said treatable, beatable, and curable. Six months later,  we were told that the original cancer was gone and believed it.
In June of 2017, she was delivered the worst news anyone could ever expect in a lifetime, it had spread.

Many types of cancer have thirty types of chemo. There are over a hundred types of chemo out there. Jennifers specific cancer has one. Having been through countless doctors appointments with several specialists we have been told over and over again this chemo cannot cure this type of cancer.  Moving forward chemotherapy will become cancer maintenance. How disgusting is that? That they call it, " cancer maintenance"! This cancer has never made Jennifer sick, not for a second. Chemo and radiation has made her sicker than this disease ever has. In fact, towards the end of her treatment she had lost nearly 20lbs,  her skin was gray, and the skin that had been radiated became necrotic.

A year and a half ago we put together a benefit for Jennifer that she almost could not even attend due to her blood counts from the...wait for it...Chemotherapy. After nearly two years of research it is possible that the reason for the cancer spreading may have very well been due to the chemo and/or the radiation. Do your research folks, chemotherapy and radiation are carcinogens!!! Promised ideals of Cannabis Oil and Veganism have become a lifestyle that isn't necessarily doing the trick. Had "Big Pharma" given us other options we would've sought them. However, for now the only option for us is pointing towards health versus poison.

So now the cancer is Stage 4 and has spread to the lymph nodes and the liver. Unfortunately, the prognosis with this rare type of cancer is very grim at best with standard medicine.  We have researched every persuable option out there to help get her better. Based upon all of the research that we have found, it seems that the most effective way to treat this is the natural way. We have also been told over and over by the oncologists that chemo WON’T cure this. Hands down the holistic avenue seems to have way better statistics than chemotherapy. Jennifer, has spent months trying to alkalize her body and focus on health while eating a raw diet. It seems quite contradictory to pour poison into a body that has finally reached a healthy place.

With this being said, for the first time in a long time we are given a ray of hope. There are two clinics in Arizona where Jennifer could go to be treated naturally and the best part... they have a 92% success rate! They are chemotherapy and radiation free and do treatments that aren’t readily accessible here. The problem lies in the cost. Insurance will cover the poisons that we have been told repeatedly won’t cure it, but won’t cover the cost of naturalistic healing. Jennifer has a support system in place in Arizona of family and friends. If need be we can find her a place to stay. The treatment costs around $7000/Mo. on the average. We need to raise money to get Jennifer to AZ and fund treatment.

For those of you that may not know me. My name is Sarrah Fenner. I met Jennifer 20yrs ago in Alpena, MI and we have been friends ever since. We both moved to Grand Rapids and have since each had a daughter. Our daughters have been raised like sisters and she is one of my very best friends. True blue. We had linked an account to the go fund me that Jennifer has access to and she can withdraw for treatment as she needs it. I will have no contact with the money, as it goes straight to her.

If she stays here either the cancer or the chemo will inevitably kill her. If she leaves and seeks alternative treatment not only does she have a chance but she has the best chance we’ve been given in a very long time. Updates will be posted as we learn more information. Please help us spread the word and share the love she so desperately deserves to beat this. Thank you for your love, prayers, and continued support!
