Monkeys amputation

** I recieved a call from the vet this afternoon saying they will do the surgery tomorrow for 1000-1300$ so that is my new goal. Please help!** I took in monkey a little over a month ago. His owner had passed away and I agreed to take him and his brother in. Monkey lost his leg 2 years ago in an attack from another animal. In knowing little about the cats and noticing monkeys stump bleeding I decided to bring them to the vet where I was informed monkeys entire leg would need to be amputated and I can not afford the surgery on my own.
