Covid Pandemic Wildlife Relief Aid

*UPDATE* The Trip has been persponed to July 2021! During this stressful time the guys at the reserve have been but under a lot of pressure both financially and with little man power. I would like to raise over and above what was needed to help try relieve som of the damage caused by Covid 19. any ideas for fundraisers or money making ideas would be really really grateful. Thank you Hey Everyone ! Im Super Super Excited to have the privilege to go Help wildlife Vets with a group from Greenmount college where im studying currently. With your  help I will be getting hands on with a few different Conservation Projects under the watchful eye of Dr Peter Caldwell in the Beautiful South African Welgevonden Reserve .  One of our main projects will be working with the beautiful Southern White Rhino who where brought back from near extinction (unfortunately the Northern White only has 3 left in captivity) . Still being heavily poached for there beautiful horn , we will be working on antipoaching ,DNA sampling and tagging different White Rhinos. We also will be looking into elephant contraception to minimise the impact of growing numbers of elephant population . Meaning horrible culls may be a thing of the past . We also will be tracking cheetahs and fitting tracking collars and observing behaviours.  This will not be a holiday, and will be hard graft with us having to cook(hope the guys like veggies) and clean as a group. . But it will be amazing getting to know other girls sharing the same passion for animals and hoping to gain a lot of knowledge from them too.. and have a bit for craic! I cannot actually write in words  how much being able to go here and learn and educate myself on my life passion of animals and wildlife and do my little bit to help protect them so future generations can love them all as much as I do.❤  Growing up as a little girl making nests for birds , and stick hotels for bugs i could find in the garden .. and diddnt want to watch anything other than Michaela Strachan and Steve Irwin (RIP) . This has honestly been a life long dream of mine  since i was about 3 or 4 and led me into doing Zoology in Queens  i didnt think I'd ever be able to do it with having Finley (And I'd never change that, he's my bestie) .  But please please help me help them ❤  ❤   Peace out ✌ Robyn Elliott
