Esmond Family FIRE recovery fund

On Saturday afternoon, 8/15/15, a very strong thunderstorm came through the area. There were heavy rains accompanied by strong thunder and lightening. Thankfully the Esmond family was not at there when lightening struck their home.

Unfortunately the lightening strike resulted in a fire . There were no fire hydrants available on the road . The fire burned as the many fireman from 6 surrounding towns, brought in water and pumped it through the hose.

The bonus room and upstairs bathroom are completely burned through. The rest of the home has significant smoke and water damage. The family was told that the house is "unlivable" and that it will take at least 6 months before they can move back in.

We would like to help this wonderful family with costs associated with finding a temporary home and replacing possessions small and large- things that may not be covered by insurance. Items like food, clothing and toiletries are needed right away. School supplies for their daughter and warmer clothes for the upcoming months.
