Voyageurs Wolf Project 2021 Trail Camera Fund

This might be a big ask but we are going for it! We are trying to raise funds to purchase an additional 120 trail cameras for our research on the Voyageurs Wolf Project and are hoping you might be able to help us out! Trail cameras provide an exceptional way for us to study several aspects of wolf ecology including:

-Wolf litter size and denning behavior
-Wolf pup survival
-Wolf pack and population size
-Unique, cryptic behaviors such as wolves catching fish or eating blueberries
-Wolf hunting behavior 
-Wolf pack turnover and individual identification of wolves

Additionally, these trail cameras help us share our research with a broad audience. To date, our trail camera footage that we have shared on social media has been viewed over 28 million times and counting. Below are a few stills from some of our trail camera footage over the past year.

A trail camera package (trail camera, SD cards, batteries, a lock, camera mount, etc.) is $300. Anyone who donates a trail cam package(s) gets their name written on the camera(s) that their donation helped purchase. Our budget of $36,000 is based on 120 camera packages x $300/package.

We will share video compilations from our 3 "best" trail cameras at the end of our field season with everyone who donates as a thank you for supporting our work!
