KC's Smile-Dental Surgery

 

   First off, thank you for taking time out of your day to visit this page. I created this page in effort to raise the financial support needed to bless my Mom with dental surgery. I know that I am taking a huge leap of faith here and honestly this is not something I have ever done. I am not good at asking for help and as many of you know, neither is she. :) The truth today though, is that we need it.

The reason that I have contacted you is because you are someone who is important in my Mom's life and I am sure at some time have made her smile. Whether she was your Mom, daughter, sister, friend or dance teacher, I am sure you have all seen her love, laugh and enjoy life. One of the best things about my Mom is that she is always giving to other people. She has always had such a heart to help others whether it's with a warm hug, kind words or lending a shoulder to cry on. She loves with everything she has and that has blessed me and many others throughout a lifetime. 

Today, I am asking for your help to raise funds to help her smile again. As many of you know she was diagnosed with Lupus about 5 years ago and has been battling it ever since. Her symptoms have gotten a lot worse, leaving her in pain most nights, unable to chew food and unable to walk any long distances. She has lost most of her teeth and the few she has left are leaving her in tremendous amounts of pain. She urgently needs dental surgery to relieve this pain and remove the teeth that are becoming infected and implant new ones so that she is able to eat and most of all bless us all with her smiles again. 

As many of you know, my Mom is divorced and after that she lost the insurance she had. So paying for medical bills that come with Lupus are not easy for her or all the family that has helped so far. I am asking for you to help me raise the money we need to bring that smile back, to lift her spirits so that she can battle this disease, and to give back to someone who her whole life has given so much to so many. The amount I am trying to raise is the amount that the U of M dental school will require her to pay for the surgery and implants. 

I want you to know that I am certain about one thing, she will be healed. God is many things and one of them is our healer, so for that I put my trust in Him. If you cannot afford to give right now all I ask is that you pray for her and in advance I thank everyone so much! With every ounce that I can possibly thank you, I do! Thank you for loving my Mom through such a difficult time in her life...that is the best gift I could ask for.
