Our #1 goal is to encourage fellow citizens to register to vote, and to then TRULY participate in this great democracy we live in.
This has never been more important than this year in IL, where politicians are attempting to replace Illinois’ flat-rate income tax with a progressive tax, and officially eliminate one of the last remaining bright spots in our states politics.
A progressive tax will lead to higher business and individual income tax rates, and as if you haven’t paid enough taxes in your life, it will open the door to taxing retirement income further.
We believe that career politicians are a systemic problem in our country, and that ignorance should no longer be bliss. Elections are decided by the majority of people that show up, and we believe Donald Trump needed to happen as a catalyst to truly change the face of American politics, whether you like him as a person or not.
We believe that this election, and future elections deserve to be decided by informed voters that are not swayed by outlets intent on keeping power where it stands. We believe in a Republican Renaissance that broadens our tent in an inclusive unity that is already there, if you’re allowed to decide for yourself.
Identity politics divide us, not rich peoples wealth. We don’t think our country’s perfect, but it’s as close as any one has gotten. We think George Floyd’s death, and every other incident of excessive force is tragic and unacceptable, but so is a complete disregard for the rule of law. We believe defunding the police will effect the lowest economic denominator the most.
We believe in the golden rule, the law of human nature and the power of individualism.
