To help raise money to offset our family's out-of-pocket medical bills, basically the amount that is our responsibility after the insurance paid the rest plus all of the doctor visits that are not covered by insurance at all.

We have been engaged in our daughters healing from a low-grade, benign brain tumor now for 2 years,  2 surgeries and now chemo-therapy.   She is very strong and very healthy, we spend our time and money to make sure of this.  

Unfortunately, because we live in PA over the border, and we went to Morristown for care, we were not covered by either the gov't or private relief to help with our bills, since we are not NJ residents.   Three people mentioned this site to us.  Michelle, Alex's friend and Cathy and Anne who are caring social workers from Morristown Medical center.   Our thought was that our daughter Mckenna should not have to grow up feeling like she was the reason for the bills that clutter our home, and to accomplish this we are asking support from friends, family and for everyone to forward to anyone that would like to contribute.

We would like to use this service to at least pay off the debt we owe to the wonderful medical teams that have helped our family.  Anything extra will be used to help with additional family debt and the rest will be donated to local educational initiatives starting on our doorsteps.
