Volunteering at Colourful Dreams School, Malawi

Danielle, Rebecca, Aoife, Darren and myself have decided travel to Malawi, and volunteer at the Colourful Dreams school.
We chose this project through the work of a family friend, who has supported both Bolera Palms & Colourful Dreams schools located near the town of Mangochi.
Katie’s work and impact on the schools and local community inspired us to get involved, and hope you can help support us via this Campaign.

The plan is to raise above £3500, towards the construction of a new classroom, school furniture (desks, chairs), uniforms and general maintenance of the school / community needs

All donations will be sent directly to Colourful Dreams school, and we as a team can support the above projects when we arrive.
We travel to Malawi on the 23rd July 2019 and will be holding various fundraising events along the way to help reach our target, so please get involved or help us reach our target.

A little about Malawi and why we want to help support this project- Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world, with over 74% of the population living below the income poverty line of $1.90 per day. Main employment / income is through farming and fishing, so when there's a drought, income and food production is scarce.
