Teaching English in Cusco, Peru

After lots of research to the 'where' and 'what', I have decided to make my trip a twofoldjourney starting in June of 2015. I am going to be volunteering in Cusco, Peru for 4 weeks through International Volunteer HQ. I will be focusing mainly on teaching English to the local children. Work varies but generally consists of providing tutoring to local students, setting up small workshops, assisting local teachers, and organizing educational games and activities.

After a month of volunteering, the second part of my trip will consist of relaxing and site seeing with a Cusco city tour, 1-day Sacred Valley tour, Machu Picchu overnight trip with Vista dome Train, and a 2-day Lake Titicaca tour.

I've been dreaming of traveling and making a positive change for a long time. I am currently on schedule to graduate this May, and now is my time to do it! My interest in volunteer work has grown drastically within the last year. So, what better way to start off the next chapter of my life than to volunteer and explore aboard!

In order to make this experience succeed, I am kindly asking you to make a donation. All of the money I raise will be dispersed to my program fee, travel insurance/passport, airfare, and supplies for the children.
