Discipleship Training School!

Hey everyone!

My name is Kyla and I'm going to Townsville, Australia for a Discipleship Training School (DTS)! I will be a part of Youth With A Mission's program from January 27th until June 28th, 2019.

The DTS is a course about faith development and serving. During the course I hope to develop skills and character, and increase my knowledge of the Lord through learning how to encounter God and understand the nature, character, and ways of God through worship, prayer, and time in His Word. This course will help strengthen my walk with the Lord. We will do the works of God and share the Gospel. For my elective, I have chosen the Trekking elective which aims to reach people in some of the most remote areas in Australia. The first 12 weeks of the DTS will be spent in the classrooms, learning about God and training for our electives, and the final 9 weeks will be spent doing electives. In doing this DTS, I will receive a Certificate III in Discipleship.
