Volunteer trip to build a school in Africa

Hello everyone!
My name is Michele Rossi and I’m looking for help to raise money to cover expenses for a volunteer trip to Ghana to build a school in the village of Ada Foah.
Siemens has offered a lucky few to be part of a corporate social responsibility program with the main mission to advance education and aid in the relief of poverty in any part of the world.
The current school in Ada Foah consist of temporary beach shacks, which are frequently destroyed by storms. These structures do not allow for a permanent and safe environment for educating the future minds of Ghana.
I’ve been lucky enough to be selected by Siemens as one of the 15 team members that will be visiting the village of Ada Foah this upcoming January to fulfill the mission statement above.
To me, education is what creates a bright future by bringing knowledge and opportunities to the upcoming generations. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to give something back to those in need. With the help of Siemens, we are able to bring all the materials needed to build a local school and to help spread the importance of education by participating in an educational program for the two-week stay in Ghana.
We need to plan our own trip to Ghana and that’s where you’re needed most. Your donation will help cover construction materials, lodging, and travel expenses - the total estimated cost is about $3,000. 100% of the money you donate will be used to give my time to the people of Ghana and will have a lasting impact on many generations in the village of Ada Foah.
