Teaching Refugee Children

Each dollar that is donated will be matched ONE for ONE by the Give2Learn organization.

Dear Family and Friends,

I am currently in Greece working as a volunteer teacher at a refugee camp. The school was created, built and is run by the Armando Aid organization.

The school depends on a team of wonderful and skilled volunteers to teach the children English, literacy and math, as well as science, art and social skills. The school is committed to ensuring that the children have access to quality learning. They have created an environment that provides routine and normality in a safe place while they are living in very difficult circumstances.

Watch this video by REEF to learn more.

It is vital that these children and the adults of the community continue to receive education and opportunities to acquire skills to rebuild their lives.

The money raised will be used to support the living expenses of long term teaching volunteers and healthy food, books and school supplies for the children. Please see the links below to learn more about Armando Aid.
