Voitlandia Community Land Trust

After 170 years, the 64-acre Voit Farm across from Woodman's east will soon be changing hands.  It could turn into a strip mall, a Walmart, or a sub-division; or it could remain as a natural area--maintained by the local community, in perpetuity.  Five months ago a thoughtful group of concerned citizens formed the grassroots organization 'Voitlandia'.  We are 204 people strong and growing, and we believe that control of this land should remain with the people, who will honor and preserve it as a natural gem of Madison's east side for generations to come.  We envision regenerative land use, net-zero affordable housing, Community Supported Agriculture, and wetland preservation.  There is power in numbers and this GoFundMe campaign will be used to expand our membership 10-fold, so we can collectively purchase this property.  Change happens locally, please consider even a small donation to help support this land preservation initiative.  More information can be found at voitlandia.org, we are so grateful for your support!
