In just over four years, voicEd Radio has gathered a recognized and respected community of educators, students, parents, researchers and sector partners around a commitment to broader and deeper conversations about education in Canada and beyond.
A network of nearly 150 education-related podcasts, daily live radio broadcasts and a growing number of special content projects has enabled us to begin to make significant impact in the education space.
voicEd Radio is at a crucial point in its development. For the past four years, a combination of personal funds, generous donations from our content creators and listeners as well as a dogged commitment to getting the work done has enabled us to get where we currently are—20 000 live listeners and 12 000 content downloads per month is pretty decent.
But if we are going to thrive in these very important times, we need to be doing more than "getting by".
That's why our Spring, Drive to Thrive campaign is launching with a $50 000 target. If successful, we can start to increase our head count, do a much better job of promoting the work of our creators, and enhance our ability to develop the type of professional learning platform that will benefit schools and communities across the country and around the world.
