Karen's Cancer Fund

In August 2017, my mom (Karen) was diagnosed with colon cancer. After going thru surgery and several iron infusions, all the cancer had been removed. Unfortunately, a lump was found in her neck on her thyroid shortly after. It was drained a few months ago and since then has tripled in size. She has to have surgery again in a couple weeks to remove it. The pathologist will be in the operating room standing by to determine if the mass is cancerous. We hoped she was done with this journey, but it’s like starting all over again and, as you know, co-pays and prescriptions start adding up. Mom has always been a giver, never a taker. She is one of the sweetest and most kind people you will ever meet. But we want her to have a little peace of mind and just possibly raise enough to cover some of the co-pays for the surgery. UPDATE: Surgery is tomorrow. We will keep everyone updated with the results. Thank you all for your support and prayers. I raised the goal to her out of pocket deductible. With this second surgery and all the testing, scans, prescriptions and co-pays, it will add up quick.  This will help her tremendously!  Please keep her in your prayers tomorrow! Thank you all!!
