Celeste/Rosalyn ICU & NICU Recovery

My cousin, Celeste, was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis about 4 years ago at the age of 18. She had aspirated water into her lungs and failed to breathe, leaving our entire family worried that we would lose our bright and loving Celeste. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this disease, Myasthenia gravis(MG) is a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease that is marked by signs of weakness of the skeletal muscles. Which means that since the age of 18, she slowly started losing her ability to speak, breathe fully, and sometimes the ability to move. This disease is extremely rare and is most times seen in men over the age of 70. The reason we are making this go fund me is because recently, Celeste has been having difficulty breathing and began feeling her symptoms worsening. Due to this complication Celeste had to have her baby prematurely. Since then, Celeste has been in and out multiple hospitals. It is Celeste’s wish and our families wish to have her return back home to her two baby girls. Today, My family is asking for your help in bringing her home without any concern of her financial well-being. Today our family is blessed to be celebrating Celeste’s 22nd birthday! Unfortunately she is still being hospitalized. Instead of throwing her a birthday, we would instead like to raise funds for her medical expenses. Given there is no none cure for her disease, our only wish is to make sure she is comfortable, happy and most importantly loved.
