We can all use a little help every now and again.
The Hard Part: Bacterial Pneumonia. Hospitalized on Sunday, October 8, sedated and on a respirator until finally awakened on Saturday, October 14, 2017.
Occupation: Talented, dedicated, hard working Dressage Trainer of People and Horses
Problem: No work, no income. While not 100% true, Lindsay's clients are true blue, she is not able to earn her training and lesson revenue. And we don't know how long her recovery will be before she will be back in the saddle and able to perform to her satisfaction. We are simply happy she is on the road to recovery. In the meanwhile, bills have to be paid and that includes the medical ones from nearly a week's stay in the Infectious Diseases ICU. And the doctors. And the radiologists. And everything in between. Her husband Neal is also self employed and a great deal of his time has been by his wife's side. As it should be. Those of you that know Lindsay, know her passion, dedication, commitment and integrity.
Solution: Setting up a GoFundMe to help make her life a little (hopefully a lot!) easier as she transitions back from being a patient into the real world. It's a bit of a long road ahead... As of 10/14/17, Lindsay is still in the hospital... but I wanted to get this kickstarted for her. I will admin and turn it over to her when she is ready to spend anyway she needs to...
