BCAC urgent-care fund

Where your dollars go:  Every year, Friends of Bossier City Animal Control sends hundreds of dogs and cats to area vet clinics for urgent care.  The vet bills are paid for by Friends of Bossier City Animal Control, not the city of Bossier City.  We are only able to do this through donations from the community.   All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to the animals.

Friends of Bossier City Animal Control was founded in 2012.   We are made up of a group of area animal advocates who wanted to make a difference for the animals surrendered to Bossier City Animal Control (BCAC).  Through our work and networking on social media, the euthanasia rate has been reduced by more 60% (for dogs) and by 30% (for cats).

Thank you for supporting our efforts to help the animals of BCAC.  Please consider making your donation a recurring donation so that our efforts can be continued throughout the year.

We thank you and the dogs, cats and staff of BCAC thank you too!
