Vivianna's Teen Challenge and Beyond
Our daughter is 14 years old and struggling with addiction. When Vivianna was 8 years old she was sexually abused by a family member we loved and trusted. She is battling depression, anxiety, insomnia and she is very angry. She has run away 5 times thinking that she can cope by self medicating and basically escaping reality. She has even contemplated suicide. We won't give up on her, we will continue to pray and fight for her life and future. She has finally reached a place of surrender because she is just so tired of the pain. We found a Christian based program in Tucson Arizona that helps girls like Vivianna recognize their worth in Christ and begin to heal from past traumatic experiences. Teen Challenge has an 86% success rate of helping others to become mentally stable, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive. The cost to send her there for the five month program is $24,000. Any little bit helps. Vivianna wants to be victorious and fill her cup so that God will use her to pour into others. She has goals of helping other children that have been sexually or physically abused. She wants to hopefully one day join law enforcement in the efforts of saving children from sex trafficking. Because $4,000 has already been donated her admission date is June 16, 2020 but we still have a long way to go and with God nothing is impossible. Prayer is so powerful so please even if you can't give at this time keep Vivianna and her family in prayer. Thank you!
