Our beloved Vivian Otero passed away peacefully on the night of 12/30/2017. Vivian lived a beautiful life married to Ramon Otero Jr. (Passed in 2000) They had 5 children all born in raised in flagstaff.
Vivian had a beautiful life working as a school teacher for st Mary’s catholic school of where she retired from. Vivian raised her grandchildren later meeting her great-children. Life happens as well as unfortunate events. Vivian took on the role of rehabilitating her daughter (Toni) who was greatly injured in a tragic accident in 1994. Vivian always kept a smile and warm heart. Towards the end of Vivian’s wonderful life, an onset of dementia set in. As Vivian’s medical conditions began to worsen, her grandson took role as her medical power of attorney and moved her to Phoenix where she spent the last 3 years of her life.
Vivian’s joyful life will be celebrated at Our Lady Guadalupe Church located in Flagstaff, AZ on Saturday 1/13/2018. A rosary will be held at 10:30am with a service to follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist the family with cremation and funeral services.
