<div>In the most remote and underserved corners of Ecuador’s coastal provinces—Los Ríos, Manabí, and Guayas—there are families who have been forgotten by the government, untouched by aid, and overlooked even by local institutions. But every week, a small group of volunteers shows up with open hearts, healing hands, and whatever supplies they can gather.

<div>This grassroots medical brigade, led by June and supported entirely by donations and personal sacrifice, travels deep into the rural campo. They bring free medical care, food, school supplies, and basic dignity to children, elders, and entire communities.

<div>What They Do:

<div>Provide free medicine to children and elderly, including vitamins, calcium, and treatments for infections and chronic conditions.
</div>
<div>Offer checkups, blood pressure monitoring, gynecological care, and even skin and nail care—because feeling clean and cared for matters too.
</div>
<div>Distribute school supplies, clothes, shoes, and food like powdered milk and oats to children suffering from hunger and malnutrition.
</div>
<div>Support those with special needs, including wheelchairs and assistance for elders living in mountainous terrain.
</div>
<div>Empower people with spiritual and mental health support, rooted in love and dignity—not affiliation or obligation.

<div>A team of retired doctors, volunteers, and everyday people—Christians working independently of the church, committed to action, not words. They pile into a single car, often paid for out of pocket, and rely on the kindness of churches for the occasional meal. No government support. No big-name NGOs. Just pure service.

<div>June pays for much of this from her own pocket—but the needs are growing.

<div>They hope to buy 100 bottles of children’s vitamins and calcium, diabetes and infection medications, school backpacks, dewormers, and more.

<div>They also need funds for gas, transportation, and basic medical equipment like thermometers and blood pressure cuffs.

<div>Even small donations help them go farther. We also welcome donations of nearly-expired medicines (6–7 months out).

<div>Pero cada semana, un pequeño grupo de voluntarios se presenta con corazones abiertos, manos sanadoras y los suministros que pueden reunir.
